Our policies

What to know before you walk in or book.

Booking and deposits

Walk in any day we're open, or choose a time on the booking page. We take no deposit, for a walk-in or for a booked time.

Canceling and running late

If you booked, please tell us at least two hours ahead so someone else can have the time. If you're late, we take you as soon as a chair opens, and your service may be shorter so the next person isn't kept waiting.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a booked time without telling us, we may ask you to confirm your next booking by phone or text first. Walk-ins are always welcome.

Children and companions

We thread clients from age 12. Anyone under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who stays in the shop. Friends and family can wait in the seats by the window.

Patch tests and allergies

We use no wax, tint or adhesive, so there is nothing to patch test. Tell us if you use retinol or another medicine that thins or sensitizes skin, have a cold sore, or have skin that is sunburned, broken or irritated, and we'll skip the area or suggest waiting. Reactions can happen with any service. If you notice burning, swelling or hives, tell us and call your doctor.

If you're not happy

Tell us within a few days and we'll make it right.

Tipping

Tips are appreciated and never expected. Leave one in cash at the chair or add it when you pay.

How the line works

Walk-ins join the line in the order they arrive, and a booked time goes first at its hour. Call or text and we'll tell you how many people are ahead of you. The line closes 30 minutes before we do.

Before your visit

Come with clean skin and no creams or makeup on the area. Skip retinol and scrubs there for a few days beforehand, and let a few days of hair grow back if you've shaved or trimmed.

Questions we haven't answered?

Call or text, and we'll answer between visits.
