The method

How threading works

One cotton thread, two hands and a mirror.

  • Say what you want

Tell your threader the shape or the area, or show a photo. We talk through the line before we start, and you can change your mind at any point.

  • A loop of cotton

Your threader twists a cotton thread into a loop and rolls it over the skin, lifting hairs out at the root in short passes. There's no wax, no heat and no blade.

  • Look in the mirror

Before the last pass we hold up a mirror. Nothing more is taken until you've said it looks right.

  • Cool down and go

A cool cloth and a few notes on what to skip for the rest of the day. Skin can look pink for a while.

How pricing works

Every service has a price. Here is what sets it and where you see it.

  • What decides the price

Price follows the area and the minutes a service takes. A brow shaping and a full face are priced differently because the time and the area are different.

    • The area: brows, lip, chin, cheeks or a full face

    • The time the service takes

    • Whether you add a second area in the same visit

  • What the consultation covers

Every first visit starts with a short talk at the chair: the shape or area you want, how your skin has felt after past threading, and anything you'd like us to skip. Nothing starts until you agree, and you can stop at any point.

  • Add-ons and changes on the day

If you add a second area once you're in the chair, we add the minutes and the price for that area, and your threader tells you before starting. Nothing is added without your yes.

  • Deposits

We don't take a deposit, whether you walk in or book a time.

  • Canceling or running late

If you booked, please let us know at least two hours ahead so someone else can have the time. If you're late, we take you as soon as a chair opens, and your service may be shorter.

  • Tipping

Tips are appreciated and never expected. Leave one in cash at the chair or add it when you pay.

  • Gift cards and packages

Gift cards come in any amount and work for any service. Buy one online or at the counter.

    Buy a gift card

Prices are on the booking page and on the board by the door. Your threader says the price before the first pass.
