Afterward
The first day and after
Threaded skin is clean and a little tender. A few small habits keep it calm.
The first few hours
Skin can look pink, and a cool cloth helps. Leave makeup, cream and touching off the area.
The rest of the day
Skip hot showers, saunas, swimming pools and strong sun on the area.
The next few days
Wash gently and use a plain moisturizer. Skip retinol and scrubs on the area, and don't pick.
If something feels wrong
Burning, swelling or hives are reasons to tell us and call your doctor or go to urgent care.
After your visit
How long does pink skin last?
It varies from person to person, and it usually settles within the day. If it doesn't, tell us.
When can I put makeup on?
Wait until the next day if you can. If you have an event, tell your threader and we'll plan the visit around it.
When should I come back?
Hair grows back, and many clients come every three to four weeks to keep the line.
